Rachel started dancing when she was just four years old, with the Cameron Curran School of Dance in a little hall in Galway. After many years of competitive dancing, Rachel decided to attend the University of Limerick to study Irish Music and Dance. Rachel was immersed in learning about different dance styles, music, and choreography. She took this new passion for dance with her as she travelled around the world as a professional dancer with amazing shows such as Ragus the Show, Rhythm of the Dance, and Riverdance. Upon return to Ireland, Rachel began teaching Irish Dance, and her career as a choreographer began to flourish. Rachel’s choreography can be seen in TV programmes such as ‘An Jig Gig’, and in her performances over the years aboard the ‘Corrib Princess’ in Galway. Although Rachel has mainly focused on dancing throughout her career, she is also an award-winning professional singer. After singing in many of the shows listed above, Rachel has become an increasingly popular choice for brides and grooms in the West of Ireland as a versatile and entertaining singer in both ceremonies and receptions. Rachel is proud to return to the stage in a role which combines her love for choreography, dancing, and singing in ‘Mise Eire’.
